In My Own Voice Campaign

Hey everyone, if you jump over to the campaigns section of the website you’ll see that we’re doing a little online campaign about the so called ‘Voice for men’ campaign pointing out that these so called ‘Men’s Rights Groups’ don’t speak for all men. In fact most men don’t feel these groups speak for them.

If you don’t think they speak for you then get involved in the campaign! Take a photo, update your Facebook status, write a blog whatever! Just do it in YOUR OWN voice.

Where on the site does it ever say the support Violence??? Nowhere.
It is constantly stated, stated on air, and people are are supporters of any form of violence are instantly blocked/deleted/banned from entering the space.

Again, visit the site and get a good picture.

    Now this is just crazy.
If you READ avoiceformen.com you will not find any advocation of violence tolerated at all.
Not against women, children or even animals.
What is DIFFERENT there from feminist pages is that also they refuse to accept violence against men and, they insist on peer reviewed data instead of ideological feminist data which tends to show that yes there are abusive men but, there are also abusive women and to help with that problem we NEED to address it as a violence issue instead of a gender issue.

MRA’s say “Violence against women is never okay….. Unless it is to stop her from hitting you”
If your britches are big enough to assault a man then they best be big enough to stand up to self-defense aswell.

MRA’s are also vehemently opposed to rape, of men or of women. They however do not consider rape to include “I as an adult chose to drink myself into a stupor and sleep with an unattractive person so now feel violated”, unless men can also charge ugky women with rape after a bender or, if we protect men from that charge in those circumstances and inssist that, “No, women are capable adults too and must be responsible for their own choices just like men.”

If you look closely you will actually find that MRA’s have a higher opinion of women’s potential and abilities than do feminists. We just screw it up as a society by telling women they are potential victims instead of telling them that they are capable of changing their situation on their own.

Well not on their OWN, but yes every human on the planet should do the best they can to be responsible for their own and the safety of others, regardless of the group(s) or subgroup(s) they belong to.
